Drive the CJ-8 from Dry Wash to Fire Lookout in six timed off-road stages. Pick a line, rock through the bends and collect coins on the way.

Loose stones slide under the wheels. Low range gives the shortcut more grip.
Read the trail and choose your line.

Canyon Roadbook is the free Jeep Scrambler driving game on Rare Answer Game. Play in your browser and share your explorer profile with Fruit Isles. Build speed with alternating wheel controls, choose a route through the canyon and bring your vehicle to the finish with fuel and hearts remaining. This is a fictional arcade challenge inspired by the CJ-8, not a vehicle simulator or a guide to driving a real Jeep.
Build momentum by rocking left and right. Alternate A and B for forward thrust. Alternate C and D or tap both rear wheels together for reverse thrust. Repeat in rhythm to cover 300 metres. Collect up to 15 star coins along each crossing. Each one immediately adds one point to your shared balance. Release and repeat each stroke to keep moving. Release to coast before obstacles.
Choose a contract, read the terrain report, then set your transfer case. On rough ground, 4L provides more grip and can avoid the shortcut’s one-heart entry cost. On firm tracks, 4H saves one fuel on the detour. Preview the costs before committing to a route.
If a stage ends early, retry that stage or choose another route. Retrying restores the fuel and hearts you had before entering it, keeps your earlier checkpoints, and resets the stage timer. Coins already collected in that stage remain collected, so retries never award the same coin twice.
Open your field crate before a crossing for three fuel or two body. Finish with both resources above zero to earn ten points per remaining unit, plus fifty for completing your contract.
Finish any of the first five stages with fuel and health remaining to restore up to two hearts at the checkpoint, capped at seven. The first rescue in each stage is free; later rescues add five seconds without taking hearts. Reverse with C and D when you need room to turn away from an obstacle.
Each crossing covers 300 metres, making a complete six-stage journey 1,800 metres. The course includes left and right bends, U-turns, chicanes and a roundabout. Slow down before a tight bend, then resume your rocking rhythm as the road opens up.
The timer sits in the upper-right corner of the game. It stops when a crossing ends, and the recent-results table records the stage, result, time and points. Try to improve your time while keeping enough fuel and vehicle health for the next stage.
Yes. Canyon Roadbook runs in your browser without an account or installation. Use the A, B, C and D keys, or the wheel buttons shown in the game.
Alternate A and B to rock forward. Alternate C and D, or press and release C and D together, to move backward. Holding a single button does not continuously accelerate the vehicle.
The hearts show remaining vehicle health. Impacts and route costs can reduce it. The first rescue is free; further rescues add five seconds without taking hearts. A run ends if health or fuel reaches zero, so check the route costs and remaining resources before starting a crossing.
Yes. On this site, both games use the same browser-local player profile. Collected coins add to your points balance, and completing the canyon journey awards XP. Clearing browser data can remove your saved profile and results.
No. Jeep Scrambler: Canyon Roadbook is an independent fan-made browser game. Its rocking controls, courses and rewards are fictional and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Jeep.
